Who runs this site
European Betting & Gaming Times is a static publication about online gambling: articles, operator reviews and reference pages. It has no user accounts, no comments, no shop and no advertising network of its own. The publisher decides what is collected here and why, and can be reached at the editorial desk.
What this site collects
Reading a page requires nothing from you. The hosting server keeps ordinary access logs — the IP address the request came from, the time, the page asked for and the browser string your device sends. They are used to keep the site up and to investigate abuse, and for nothing else. Beyond those logs, the only personal data that reaches us is what you type into one of the two forms described below.
Storage in your browser
This site sets no advertising and no analytics cookies, and runs no third-party trackers, pixels or tag managers. It stores a single value in your browser: a flag that remembers you have seen the notice at the bottom of the screen, so it is not shown again. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Links to operators
Review pages link out to gambling operators. Those links are commercial: they are marked rel="sponsored", and the operator or its affiliate programme can see that the visit arrived from this site and may pay us for it. What happens after you follow such a link is governed by that operator’s own privacy policy, not by this one. This site passes no personal data along with the link, and receives no personal data about you back.
Who else receives data
The hosting provider, which stores the files and the server logs, and fortunida.com, which serves the two forms. Both act on our instruction only. Nothing is sold, rented or handed to advertisers, and no profile is built about you. Data is disclosed to a public authority only where the law of the country of the publisher requires it.
How long it is kept
Server logs are rotated by the hosting provider in the ordinary course and are not archived by us. The retention periods for the forms are stated with each form below.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Write to the editorial desk and we will answer within one month. If you consider the answer inadequate you can complain to the data protection authority of the country you live in.
Children
Gambling content is for adults. This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and does not knowingly collect anything from them. If a submission through a form appears to come from a minor, it is deleted.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new text is published on this page. There is no mailing list for policy updates, because the only address list we keep is the newsletter.
