European Betting & Gaming Times covers betting and gaming for readers in Ireland: how the sector is licensed, who operates in it, how money moves and what the rules mean for a player.
How we handle figures
Numbers, dates, licence details and quotations are reproduced from the page or document that states them. Where a figure is not stated in a source, the field is left out rather than estimated. Data panels beside an article are built from that article’s own text; section panels link to the page each line comes from.
How the sections are organised
Nine sections divide the subject by the question a reader arrives with. Regulation follows licensing and statute; Markets takes the same questions country by country. Casino and Betting deal with the arithmetic of games and of prices, Payments with deposits, withdrawals and disputes, and Bonuses with the conditions attached to an offer. Operators holds the company dossiers, Player safety the limits and blocking tools, and News the running timeline. Material about markets this edition does not cover is kept in the international archive rather than filed as if it were local.
What is here and what is not
This is a static publication. There are no accounts, no comments, no shop and no advertising network of its own, and nothing on the site accepts a stake or holds a balance. Reviews describe what an operator publishes about itself and what its licence record shows; they are not a test of its software, its payouts or its customer service, and they are not advice to open an account.
Commercial links
Some operator links on this site are commercial and are marked as sponsored. A link never buys a place in our coverage and never changes what we write. Where a page carries a paid placement, it is marked in the link itself rather than in a disclosure the reader has to go looking for.
Player safety
Gambling is for adults only. Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), established by the Gambling Regulation Act 2024. If gambling has stopped being entertainment, the support lines in the footer of every page are free and confidential.
